Toms River Black Sox Alum and Richard Stockton College Freshman, 3B Travis Marra (ABCCL Langan Baseball FALCONS/Toms River, NJ) has earned NJAC Rookie of the Week honors for the sixth time this season after hitting .500 (5-for-10) with a triple, a home run, three RBI, and two runs scored during a 2-1 week of conference play for Stockton. He hit safely in all three games and produced two multiple hit contests, including a 2-for-4 performance with a double, an RBI, and a run scored in a 4-3 NJAC road win at Rutgers-Camden. One day later, he helped secure a sweep of the Scarlet Raptors by going 2-for-3 with his first career home run, along with two RBI in a 5-4 win. Marra, who produced a .900 slugging percentage during the week, currently leads the NJAC in batting average (.435).
